What are the System Requirement for the softwares?
Windows98/98se, Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP
Pentium  or better
128 MB RAM or more
Sound card
Enough free hard disk space to store output video/audio files.

How easy is it to download and install/uninstall?
Installing our softwares are very easy. First, visit our download page, click on a download link of the software, and the download should start automatically. Then, choose 'Run from current location" to let the installation wizard automatically start when the download completes. Finally, when the installation program launches, simply follow the on-screen instructions from there to install the software on your computer.

Uninstalling the software is very easy. Just click the menu item Start/Program/Video Workshop/Uninstall, the uninstalling program will uninstall all the files installed.

Does your softwares work with Windows XP Professional?
Yes, our softwares run well under Windows XP Professional.

I got a error message warning when installing Video Workshop?
This may because you did not install Microsoft Media Format 9 Series driver, we use this driver to process WMV format. You can download the free driver by clicking the following link and install it first, then setup Video Workshop.

Download Microsoft Windows Media Format 9 Driver here   and install it.

Can I split video files to fit on a floppy disk or a CD?
Video Workshop or quick video converter allows users to split a video file into any size or length.

Is it possible to join different format video files into one?
Yes, any number of video files supported by our softwares can be joined together, and will be output as one video format you select.

I'm trying to find a video converter to convert wmv and/or mpg to asf so that I can stream it with a Windows Media Server. Does your software do this? 
There is not need to convert wmv to asf. Windows Media Server supports wmv files perfectly. WMV is a more advanced format than ASF, we may say that ASF is a previous version of WMV.

Where are my video files?
You're all ready to convert/Split/Join your videos...but where are they?
In Convert/Split/Join/Mix functions, the output directory need to be set, the default directory is C:\My Videos, all the conversion and split video will be at that output directory, and remain the same name as original. If in Join function of Video Workshop, the joined output file will be C:\My Videos\output.avi, you can set it to any name and directory you want.

How much is it?
Video Workshop or Quick Video Converter only costs $29.95 for an individual license, with no monthly charges, no annual fee, and free technical support included.

How much will I have to pay for the upgrade?
All registered users will get free upgrade, you do not need to pay for the upgrade.

Is the price a one time cost or are there other fees?
The price is a one time cost only. There are no monthly or yearly charges whatsoever.

Is your online order form secure?
Yes, it is 100% secure.

What if I don't want to use my credit card over the Internet?
Feel free to phone or fax your credit card orders. Be sure to write, "I want to order Video Workshop or Quick Video converter" and the license type, and include your complete name, address, phone number, and E-mail address.  For full details,

I do not want to use my credit card, Can I use check to order?
Yes,
go to the check order form. Fill out the applicable information, and send the form with payment to the address located at the top of the form.

What happens after I send in the order?
You will receive an email confirming your order shortly after sending the online order form. In this confirmation email you will get your User name and Registration key of the software. If you do not get your Registration code. or if you've lost it. please email us at
registration@video2x.com. Please include your order name, address,order email address, and order confirmation number (if you have it). We will be happy to help you.

How much will I pay for the technical support? Is it free?
Yes, it's completely free for all.

I have not received my registration code! Isn't it about time!
After we have received your order, we will send you a Confirmation E-mail to your appointed mail box. This letter contains your user name and registration key.
. Sometimes, people have supplied the wrong email address, or your email server is temporarily down, so our registration information mail is rejected. We will try again. So if you did not receive your registration key mail after 24 hours when you order, please send us an email including your order name, order email, and order time to registration@video2x.com, we will send you again.
